The loss and damage of so many trees on the church grounds from the storm on Thursday, August 18th, came as quite a surprise to everyone here at St. John’s. What was not a surprise was the spirit, dedication and hard work of so many of the our parishioners in the clean up efforts. Fr. Tim joined the team where sweat equity and some blood were involved in getting the job done in just 3 hours and just before the City of Phoenix bulk trash crew came by to haul it all away. A great big BLESSING and THANK YOU to everyone that came out Monday morning and worked so hard!
