Artist’s Statement: Each painting begins with an idea of shape, design, color, and patterns. As the painting evolves it takes on its own direction. The artist must constantly “listen” to the painting and work with the challenges the painting presents. The joy of painting is letting the process lead you on a journey of exploration. You never know what the final image will be until you arrive at your destination!
